A conference organised in Italy by our national focal point, the Istituto Nazionale per l'Assicurazione contro gli Infortuni sul Lavoro, provides as a platform for dialogue between institutions and the business community on the importance of fostering a strong occupational safety and health (OSH) culture. Organised with the sponsorship and collaboration of the city of Agrigento, in Sicily, the event is part of the official programme for the Italian Capital of Culture 2025.

Open to representatives from institutions and social partners, the event explores EU-OSHA's ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign, alongside other national activities led by the focal point on the topic of digitalisation at work. Discussions cover the use of drones and wireless technologies for OSH purposes, the tech tools employed by firefighters in Italy and virtual reality solutions aimed at raising awareness of gender-based violence.
