Preventing accidents at work in Cyprus with digital tools and good practice

Experts from the Department of Labour Inspection, Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance in Cyprus and the private sector discuss developments and challenges in occupational safety and health (OSH) and the role of internal services for prevention and protection at work.

An overview of national trends and areas for improvement will be presented, using as a basis the national Statistical Analysis of Work Accidents for 2024 and data on safety inspections and related case studies.

The event will continue with a session on OSH in the digital era, highlighting how digital tools can improve prevention and risk management, followed by an update on recent European developments concerning chemical products and an exploration of good practices for improving OSH across sectors.
