World Day for Safety and Health at Work on 28 April focused on the impact of digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI) on occupational safety and health (OSH). The International Labour Organisation has published a report on this topic, to which EU-OSHA has contributed.

The report analyses the opportunities and challenges for OSH in key areas of digitalisation, such as automation of tasks, remote and hybrid work, worker management through AI and smart digital systems. These are among the five priority areas of EU-OSHA’s “Safe and healthy work in the digital age” campaign.
