Good Practice Awards

What are they?

Organised by EU-OSHA and its national focal points, the Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate outstanding and innovative approaches to workplace safety and health. The awards offer the perfect opportunity to get involved in the campaign, enabling organisations to promote and share good practices across Europe.

The competition is a two-stage process. Entries are first judged at the national level and then a tripartite pan-European jury meets to choose the overall winners.

The achievements of the shortlisted, awarded and commended examples of good practice are widely promoted by EU-OSHA and its network partners.

Winning and commended examples

Our tripartite pan-European jury has decided upon the overall winners and commended examples. The examples demonstrate the many benefits of a safer and healthier workplace when everyone gets involved.

The jury recognised examples that showed real and demonstrable improvements in occupational safety and health (OSH) and demonstrated a holistic approach to OSH management. Similarly, the selected interventions needed to be sustainable in the long term and transferable to other workplaces and in different sectors across Europe. They also had to meet or exceed legislative requirements of the EU Member State where they were implemented.

See who was awarded and commended for their strong commitment to OSH.
