Addressing the challenges and opportunities of work in the era of algorithms and AI

An interdisciplinary conference is being organised in Łódź, Poland, to explore the critical questions arising from the rapid digitalisation of work.

The event, hosted by Centralny Instytut Ochrony Pracy - Państwowy Instytut Badawczy, our focal point in Poland, will address pressing issues such as the risks associated with the ‘platformisation’ and automation of work, the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on occupational safety and health (OSH) and the strategies needed to implement these technologies safely within organisations.

Bringing together OSH professionals, employers and managers, education workers and students, representatives from public authorities, legal advisors, psychologists and career counsellors, as well as non-governmental organisations and social partners, the conference will offer a unique opportunity for cross-sector dialogue.

Speakers:

  • Anna Rolczak, Deputy Chancellor of the University of Lodz
  • Wioleta Klimaszewska, CIOP-PIB
